I’d like to introduce myself, David Zylbermann, born in Paris and brought up in Jerusalem, after my family came on Aliya in 1971.
After receiving my BA in Political Science, and working in the family business at the Ramat Gan Diamond Bourse, I discovered the world of Interior Design, which has become my occupation, my profession, and more importantly my passion, for the last 20 years.
I was raised in the magically mixed atmosphere of European culture and Jewish tradition, which together with my love of art and antiques, museums, auctions and flea-markets, can be seen in my designs.
The philosophy behind my work is based on the famous saying found in Gemara:
![]()
(Babylonian Talmud, Kidushin, 49:2)
By my designs I wish to bring back to Jerusalem this last, universal measure of beauty, directly into your apartment.
In my work, along with fine materials, exclusive furniture and sophisticated LED lighting, I extensively use objects of art: paintings, sculptures and antiques, because this is what makes a place truly unique, rather that just a dwelling, giving it an intricate and subtle character, and transforming 4 walls into YOUR home. I help you visualize your dreams about your future home and translate those dreams into reality.
TIME: The time to completion – from the moment I receive the keys to the moment I return them.
BUDGET: The budget, which dictates the choice of materials and objects.
TASTE: The personal taste of the client, probably the most delicate task is to find the balance between my professional recommendations and your taste.
NEEDS: Let us never forget that the living space should, first and foremost, be comfortable and perfectly tuned to match you and your family’s specific requirements.

David Zylbermann
